Start-up Hospital in Gwalior, India

We are a 15 year old multidisciplinary college of higher education in Gwalior (MP). It is a well recognized and well established college. The college also runs nursing courses which are in great demand today. To cater to clinical practice needs of our nursing students (presently facilitated at a govt hospital) the idea came to develop a hospital.

Initially we are on the way to developing a fifty-bedded hospital. For the purpose we already own a building in an unrepresented area (population of 10 thousand).

It is a well-constructed three storied building on a 3000 sq. ft. plot, having 38 rooms (all attached with toilet). The building has adequate water supply and is centrally air-cooled.

The locality is fast developing as a new suburb comprising many well planned townships which are near completion or under construction. So the scope is great and no competition at present.

Though we have financial resources to develop it, however, we want to partner this venture with people having good and commanding experience of establishing and operating hospital/nursing home successfully. We want the partner to invest and co-operate the venture. We want a partner who is able to develop a model which is “in a class of its own” in the given opportunities and limitations.

All governmental permissions will be our responsibility. We want commencement of the hospital services by Jan 01, 2011.
